Bees are often known to drink water from the negative edge of the pool at this home. They are typically harmless to guests. Please let us know before booking if this will be an issue for you and we can suggest another home.
- Please note that we cannot provide a pool barrier fence at this property. We do not recommend this property for children under 6 years of age. Per requirements in the cities of Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, and Phoenix we utilize door alarms for all doors with access to the pool area.
- This property is located on a dirt road that may be difficult for larger vehicles to maneuver.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Please note that this home doe not have a tennis court, but we can provide a tennis/pickleball net.

Great stay overall, place was as described, had a little problem with the pool but nothing they could control..Bee’s were working on honeysuckle near the pool.. they were quick to respond and came to clean the pool right away.. will definitely be back next vacation.. my kids loved it

Home has potential, but lack of upkeep and less than responsive help from local staff made for a frustrating experience. I would liken it to a picture filter...looks good until you look close. Hot tub, never got hot. Paid for pool heating, never heated (they did refund our money for heating pool), washing machine and dryer did not work, trash compactor did not work, pool lights did not work. We had a five day stay and there were NO extra towels or washrags. Outdoor kitchen is NOT a kitchen...it is a storage space. Only way to access the pool deck from inside is through bedrooms. Otherwise have to use outdoor nature walk steps. Despite MULTIPLE attempts to get assistance to remedy our issues, NO ONE EVER CAME ON SITE to address. The home is roomy, which we needed. Otherwise the list of things in disrepair was longer than the list of things that worked.

We had a great stay! The house had everything we needed and the views were beautiful. Since it’s on a mountain there are tons of bugs at night but it was ok and they clearly take measures to prevent pests from being inside. We were worried about the pool having bees from past reviews but the pool was extremely clean and everything was great. Avantstay provided great communication and accommodated to our needs. I would definitely stay here again!

None of the grills was working. The only one we could start , had a lot of grease buildup and as soon as we turned it on , that would catch fire. Stove was not functioning at all, and for the stove we had to wait few hours to start. We had to order pizza and eat cold food for two days. The place was nice but because of this inconvenience I can not say we enjoyed it. I had family that cam here from CA and Texas and even if the place was very nice I can not say we fully enjoyed it.

It’s such a bummer that this house wasn’t what we expected. The view and location are absolutely beautiful, but during our stay so many issues arose. We had to hand wash every dish for a party of 10. The dishwasher wasn’t working, the sink was clogged the whole stay, the bees were horrible and they had to come install a new toilet because it was molded over and broken in the master. The hot tub was cold and dirty, and the bees make the pool almost impossible. At one point maintenance took up a whole day to repair issues: The house and the view really do have so much potential but it is not at all set up for guests to be in on vacation!
